It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas at Lutèce. We’ve put together some great function packages and dining opportunities for those wishing to celebrate their Christmas in an elegant (and delicious!) way.

We have a number of options available for a unique and memorable function experience. With sweeping views over Mt Coot-tha and Brisbane’s west, we have seating for up to 80 guests, space for 160 during cocktail functions, and conference spaces for 25 to 70 guests.

If it’s a delicious Christmas Day lunch you’re after, look no further! Relax with friends and family and let all the hard work be done for you. Our three-course feast includes selections such as oven roasted traditional turkey breast, stuffing and leg ham with cranberries and apple chutney, fork crushed bintje potato and sherry jus – and that’s just one course!

Make sure you leave room for dessert, because ours will not disappoint. Why not try the steamed traditional Christmas pudding with vanilla and brandy sauce, Christmas spices and macadamia nut ice cream?

It’s Beaujolais Nouveau time!

November has arrived, and that means it’s Beaujolais Nouveau month!

For those who don’t know about this unique wine event, the Beaujolais Nouveau celebrates the end of the harvest and is a race to get the new vintage on to the market as fast as possible.

The unique wine, always released in the third week of November, is made of Gamay grapes, and fermented for just a few weeks before being harvested by hand in the Beaujolais region of France.

Georges DuBoeuf produces the most well known variety of Beaujolais Nouveau, and DuBoeuf himself is often recognised as the man responsible for the popularisation of the annual Beaujolais Nouveau.

To celebrate, we’re holding a five course Georges DuBoeuf Beaujolais Nouveau dinner on Thursday, November 21 with guest chef Russell Armstrong.

Beginning at 7pm, guests will enjoy a menu of Russell Armstrong’s favourite dishes such as pressed quail and foie gras tartine, slow braised milk fed veal “Milanese”, and poached sensation pear with an almond tart.

Of course, Georges DuBouef Beaujolais Nouveau accompanies all these dishes.

We are the only venue putting on a Beaujolais Nouveau celebration, so don’t miss out on this unique and quintessentially French opportunity!
