Lutèce Bistro & Wine Bar & Romain Bapst welcomes vigneron Andrew Margan to celebrate the Provence region on Thursday 23rd June 2016
Andrew Margan was awarded in 2015 the Hunter Valley Viticulturist of the Year for the quality of his vineyards and the innovative viticultural techniques he employs, Andrew provides a strong connection between the quality of the fruit he grows and all of the Margan Wines.
With over 40 vintages under his belt Andrew has pioneered the introduction of the new varieties Barbera and Albarino into the Hunter Valley. He has also been at the forefront of producing the ground breaking “Field Blends” of Shiraz Mourvedre and Tempranillo Graciano Shiraz. All of which are grown on the Margan Fordwich Hill vineyards.
Romain Bapst & Chef de Cuisine Debra Qian Cao are taking you to “ a journey en Provence” Here’s just a taste of what is in store for the night 4 courses and appetizer on arrival; on the menu the brandade with the first Manjimup black truffle, stuffed Chipirons squid & the lamb rack in the cast iron pot “ Cocotte” with wild thyme…
