On Monday March 14th, Chef Romain Bapst and the Lutèce staff will organise a three course dinner for the Red Cross Cyclone Winston appeal.
Cyclone Winston was the strongest tropical cyclone ever to hit Fiji. More than 40 people are dead and hundreds of homes destroyed and damaged. The toll continues to rise as response teams reach the worst-affected islands. Some 35,000 people remain in evacuation centres.
Red Cross is there helping those who need it most. Emergency teams have now reached Koro Island and other severely-affected areas to distribute supplies and assess damage. Our efforts focus on emergency shelter, safe water and other everyday essentials.
Chef de Cuisine Debra Qian Cao will cook a 3 course dinner including Lutèce’s favourites: the Cea’s spanner crab lasagna, duck & the poached Gala apple with the crème caramel, and matching wines by sommelier Alexis Perrier.
All the food and wines are sponsored by Lutèce’s fantastic suppliers.
The 3 courses menu and matching wines is $90.00 per person. Red Cross envelopes are provided on the night to support Lutèce’s fundraising dinner. The dinner will commence at 6.30pm.
Payment is made on the night.
