Romain Bapst welcomes Michael Cole, Bocuse d’Or Australia 2019 candidate, for a fundraising lunch

Join us for an exceptional culinary experience to support Michael Cole in the Bocuse d’Or world cuisine contest, to be held in Lyon on 29th & 30th January 2019.

Michael Cole is Head Chef at Georgie Bass Café & Cooking School and Flinders Hotel Conference & Events on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. Over the past 10 years he has held senior chef positions in kitchens around the world, from Niseko, Japan to Nice, France, and more recently in Tasmania, Mt Buller and now Flinders.

However Michael’s talent alone is not enough to secure a place in this elite competition. The equipment, ingredients, travel costs and accommodation for the team are very costly and Bocuse d’Or Australia relies on support from food lovers and industry in order to compete.

To support Bocuse d’Or Australia, Romain Bapst (past Bocuse d’Or President & Chairman) is organising a fundraising lunch on Sunday 30th September 2019.

Some of you will remember the two great successful fundraising lunches that Romain also organised in 2015 & 2017 for the past Bocuse d’Or Australian candidate Daniel Arnold who are now running their own venues in Brisbane.

Brisbane food lovers are invited to support Michael Cole and the Bocuse d’Or Australia team by attending this event with great raffle prizes and a chef’s auction, chefs are: Dan Arnold Bocuse d’Or candidate 2017, Josue Lopez, Javier Codina, Thierry Galichet & Romain Bapst.

We are inviting potential industry sponsors to support the long lunch through our $500 sponsorship package. This package includes two tickets to the event, plus business exposure through logo placement on all marketing collateral in the lead up to and on the day of the event.

 

The Bocuse d’Or is named after the legendary “Grand Chef” Paul Bocuse.
The event is a biennial world Chef championship and is the most sought-after prize for chefs throughout the world.
