Romain’s 45th Chef anniversary & Bocuse D’Or Australia Fundraising Lunch

with No Comments

The Academie Culinaire de France Australie & the Bocuse d’Or Australia Committee would like to thank all our sponsors & culinary friends for their wonderful support to date towards our Bocuse d’Or candidate Dan Arnold.

Dan cooked-up a storm in Singapore earlier in the year in the Asia-Pacific Bocuse D’Or cook-off, & qualified for the Bocuse D’Or World contest final in Lyon, January 2017 & this since 2014.

We now have one of the strongest opportunities yet to secure a place & a possibility of which we are very proud & excited.

However due to rising costs & the current exchange rate with the Euro, the Bocuse d’Or sponsorship team urgently needs to raise a minimum of $100,000.00 to ensure our team has the finest support possible.

To support the Bocuse D’Or Australia, Romain Bapst & Lutèce Chef de Cuisine Qian Cao are organising a fundraising long lunch on Sunday 11th September 2016. On that day Romain celebrates 45 years “derriere le fourneau”!! ( 45 years in the kitchen).

Brisbane food lovers will be invited to support the Bocuse D’Or Australia team by attending the fundraising lunch with great raffle prizes & a chef’s auction.

To celebrate Romain’s 45 year’s anniversary, Lutèce welcomes artist Kelsey Giarola who will perform at the long lunch.

Kelsey Giarola is one of Australia’s up and coming vocalists specialising in jazz, soul, funk, pop & self-original stylings, Kelsey continues to perform both nationally & internationally.

Her most recent performances include singing alongside Cold Chisel’s Ian Moss, Australian Jazz Entrepreneur James Morrison and the USA’s own 4-part award winning vocal group the New York Voices. The past two years has seen Kelsey release her own Jazz Album titled “Love Me Or Leave Me” (2014), as well as working on releasing her next album consisting of her own original songs, two of which (“Hurts To Feel This Good” and “7 Days”) were released live on National SBS Television for the Ethnic Business Awards in 2014.

We are inviting potential industry sponsors to support the long lunch through our $500 sponsorship package. This package includes two tickets to the event, business exposure through logo placement on all marketing collateral in the lead up to & on the day of the event.
